A book about
surviving mental illness and not giving up.
I wrote Living
Without Marbles after being diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and my
mom’s death by overdose. The book provides an offbeat but insightful look into
the workings of my unique mind!
My main interests
lie in changing the perceptions that people have of mental health service users,
and providing some comfort to others who, like me, may be facing the challenges
that living with mental health problems brings.
I guess my main
message (ahh, sounding suspiciously like a self-help guru again!) is that, if I
can get up and face life head-on (well, sometimes, anyway!) then so can you,
dear reader, so can you.

"Crazy
Lady (Without The Cats)"
By
Clare Hill
I have written another book
called "Crazy Lady (Without The Cats)" a new type of mental health
book. It has poetry, information, short stories, a narrative from myself,
articles and contact details of organisations. I am looking for places to
market it. At $12 (£6.99 or thereabouts) it is competitively priced in
order to just about cover the costs of producing it. I wrote it because I
have mental health problems, and my mom was a lifelong sufferer of mental
ill health until her death by suicide. Now I am trying to help as many
people as I can, and reading my book seems to provide people with a positive
message that there is hope, and a way to live through the crap. Crazy Lady
(Without The Cats) is available from www.lulu.com/clarehill
I have a website at www.clarehill.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk
which started out as a self-promotion tool and has taken on a life of
its own. I get mail from people saying how my work has touched them in some
way and made them think, which is pretty cool.
Feel free to contact me if
you would like a free PDF copy of Crazy Lady (Without The Cats) for review
purposes, or if you have any questions, at clarehill@blueyonder.co.uk
Yours sincerely,
Clare Hill
